I had the opportunity to meet him last year at the NRA annual meetings. I was in line in a motorized wheelchair (knee surgery the week before) to get his autograph. He didn’t have an issue expressing himself to those in front of me to let me by. I casually thanked him & waited my turn. When I one-legged hopped over to his table he told me he “would have cleared the floor if they hadn’t got out of the way.” Been back on 2 legs for a while now but the memory that day will be remembered .

Dang. I really enjoyed Mail Call and his other shows and movies. RIP and Semper Fi.
