So the Spring Rod Run in Pigeon Forge Tn is coming up this weekend and was wondering if anyone on here was going to attend?

not me but got a buddy going up on Tuesday for the week. if your going remember the road between Cherokee and Gatlinburg is washed out and closed. have to go around 411 through Cleveland Tn or another route. I have never been to the spring run but have heard it was pretty good. I have been to the Shades of the Past in September and it was great weekend of street rods.
So the road from Pigeon Forge to GB is still good? I'm not planning on going to Cherokee but could be good info for someone that is. I've never been to shades of the past but go to the grand the weekend after and there's stull a ton of old cars that weekend too.
Rod Run is cool but it pales in comparison to the insanity of what the Mini Truckin Nationals were. LOTS of people used to go to jail on those weekends. PF cops used to be dicks. Step in the road and you go to jail. Talk to someone in a car on the road and go to jail. Give a girl beads or video a girl getting beads and go to jail. Girls getting beads go to jail. Encourage someone to do a burnout and go to jail. Do a burnout and go to jail and have your ride impounded. Adjust air-ride suspension while rolling and go to jail.

Just FYI - 441 between Cherokee and Gatlinburg is now open. It officially reopened this morning 1 month ahead of schedule.
