I bought this combo a few years ago for my son. He's pretty well outgrown it, but we still bring it out to the range every once in a while. Did that today. Broke some clays with the 20ga, plinked steel plates and paper targets with the 22lr. It's simple. It's reliable. It's accurate. It doesn't care what kind of ammo its fed. It's easy to clean. It breaks down without tools and packs into a handy, mini-briefcase sized bag. It makes a great little survival/camping rig. It's just plan old fun. And it can be found on sale for a hundred bucks.

Silly that we can have so much fun with an inexpensive gun and cheap ammo. Even if you don't have any youngsters in the house, who knows when you might get a chance to teach someone to shoot? Handy to have around.

It can't be any good if it only cost a hundred bucks. Now, if they sold it for about $400 it would be good. ;)

J/K, I agree with you on the combo. I bought one about four years ago and it's a very fun set.
