Ruger 10/22 vintage?

What length? I have a few barrels. Could cut to length and thread if you wanted? I like 4.5-6.5" for my chargers.

I’m thinking the 6.5. I’m doing the deep 6 chassis and either sparrow or scout.

What would you be willing to let one go to a newb 10/22 guy?

I could really just guy a cheap 10/22 barrel and cut it until I’m ready to spend some doing on a good one just for example

The barrel on my charger is a 10/22 factory carbine barrel cut to 10" and threaded 1/2x28. They work perfectly.

You might just go ahead and try the 10-in first to see if it fits your needs. If it needs to be shortened we can always cut off another one and thread it. A key factor building a street charger is the balanced look so you want to make sure the barrel is the perfect length to be sure it visually is what you're looking for.
