Ruger sickness

I expected to like this 5.7x28 when I bought it.
Finally got the opportunity to put 3 mags full through it today and I like it Way More than imagined.
Accurate (with supplied pop ups) super low recoil (as 5.7 is known for) and ran flawlessly with 40 gr V-max that came with the deal.
Can't wait to get out and shoot it again soon.

I just refinished a Ruger Hawkeye in wood with I think the Mauser style action. That was one heck of a gun. Was 25-06 and really accurate. I would love to have one of those actions to build a rifle off of. Ruger did that gun right!

Stainless through and through. Love the AMT's. And that Butler Creek was original equipment if my understanding is correct.

Shot my largest Ga deer with a Ruger 25-06...dropped in it's tracks....sold that gun.....as usual, I have no idea why....it was the model with sights, and a slightly heaver barrel...1980....wonderful gun, and caliber!!!
