Ruger SR 1911 $529? At AO?

Thanks, but why bother when a guy just posted one up for trade here? He's only asking for a $550 glock plus $300 cash. How can I pass that up?

He and I went round and round in pm's. He offered it straight up on my pre lock 686 snub. Said he could buy them all day long brand new at gun shops for way less. I asked him where can you find new pre lock 686 snubs? He couldn't tell me. But he did mention that he works at a gun store and knows everything. And that I was the worst person he's ever talked to on ODT.

I wouldn't go there even if they were $100 and they had 1000 to sell....screw people over all the time, treat them like crap, everyone complains how bad they are. Then they post a half decent deal and all is forgiven....ef that.

I told him I couldn't come back till the 3rd as I'd be out of town over the weekend. I was going to do the lay a way in order to hold one for me till I got in town. Did anyone get the E-mail yesterday with the Adventure Outdoors sale flyer? The one that caught my eye was a Ruger SR-1911 for $529? That's the best deal I have ever seen on one. Anybody seen this or got one? Thanks in advance.

I told him I couldn't come back till the 3rd as I'd be out of town over the weekend. I was going to do the lay a way in order to hold one for me till I got in town. He talked to his boss and he said I could have it that day for the sale price. About 20 minutes later I walked out with a new 1911. Saved me a trip back to Smyrna.

Went in for a Mark III and walked out with a 1911. Hopefully next time I can get what I went in for.

Yeah, been there, done that many times there. I got lucky on Sat. In/out in 40 min with an SR1911. I guess I hit it just right about 6:10pm.
