S&W 642 Extractor rod

I did a good cleaning of my 642-2 today. Guess I rotated the extractor rod while cleaning. It tightened up fine once I realized what I had done but it makes me wonder if it needs loctite or just a good snugging up to ensure it does not loosen. Any help appreciate it. A

I always put a little Vibra-Tite VC3 on the threads of my S&W ejector rods.

Snug it hand tight with the cylinder open S&W says no Loctite needed the left hand threads and spring tension keep it locked. Mine’s 20 years loose free. Just check every 500 rounds. Done.
