There were 5 9 mm and 5 40 S&W shields at the last gun show for $385. I picked mine up for around $430 and felt like I got a good deal about 2 months ago. I just laugh at the guys wanting $500+ for them here. A gun store/range in Lawrenceville was wanting $599 for a 9 mm!!! Of course I think all of their prices were about $100 over the "inflated" current prices I see at a lot of places. If people would just do their homework and have patience they could find what they want as many shops aren't going crazy with the price markups.
