S&W Shield Sear housing block or sear plunger

while installing apex kit on my S&W Shield, my clumsy hand launched the sear plunger somewhere via sear spring. So I put the gun back together without the sear plunger. While sear still functions fine, I'd like to see if anywhere I can purchase an extra sear plunger for the shield. When I research online, they only have entire sear housing block for sale for the M&P full size. I can't find any for shield.

BTW anyone know if there's any danger in operation with out sear plunger?
Dry fire test shows the gun works perfectly without it. Sear raise high enough to stop the firing pin.

Call S&W, They will probably ship you one free. That's a pretty common thing.

I did and they told me they do not have those parts separately available.

Here is a replacement large one, I'm not sure which size plunger is in the Shield vs the FS.

I would also contact Apex Tactical and see if they possible have a spare or an idea on where to get one.
