Safe recommendations

I actually paid more like 900.00 but it was on sale. It was around 1,100 dollars regularly. I don't know exactly how much it weighs for sure. I know me and my friend can life a cast iron small block chevy motor by our self. He and myself couldn't hardly even scoot it out of my truck on cardboard. We had to scoot it an inch at a time across the garage floor just to get it out of the way.

Don't take much to cut through 11-12 gauge sheet metal and a couple of layers of drywall. If it's not TL listed I'll be asking you which gun you want me to grab after a minute or two with a sawzall and a quality metal blade..... Or just let the cracka punch it for you..... I'm not even delusional about how long it would take to get in my Amsec, of course the concrete would wear out some blades, but it's not high strength concrete like the tl-15 or TL-30X6 Amsec. Really only a few minutes longer than a Liberty..... Oh, and mine is over $4k.

Buy a used TL rated safe and call it a day. They can be had for a decent price if you're patient, have cash at hand and willing to pay someone to move it for you. That is my "safe recommendation".

There are a couple on CL right now for sale. Do not make the mistake of spending your hard earned money on the illusion of safety. Most box store safes are just that, an illusion. Will it keep your kids out, yea, but that is about all it will do. Jump on youtube and check out some videos of what to look for when safe shopping, then go to academy or the like and put your new knowledge to the test. A simple test is to grab the safe frame where the door bolts lock into it. Most box store safes, the edge can be rolled with just your hands. Put a 150lb man on a crowbar and its all over except giving the police the s/n's of your guns and kicking yourself for not buying a decent safe.

Your safe would definitely make them work for it..... those BF’s are no joke.

Cabela's has their version of FBJr going on sale for $1200 later this week. Not sure if it's in store or online or if the $250 curb delivery is required.

Newnan Ace has 5 FBJ starting at $1299, in-stock..... and you won’t have to walk around the store for a hour while everyone scratches their heads.
