Salt Curing Meat

Does anyone on here use salt to cure meat?
If so, where is the best place to get the salt and which brand do you like?
BTW, I know that you do not use table salt.

I used to use Morton sugar cure with smoke flavor and they don’t make it anymore! Mix up course ground salt brown sugar and black pepper! 6 cups sugar 1 brown sugar and 1/8 cup black pepper works good!

It makes my blood pressure go up just thinking about it. Smoking is a better option to me.
I looked into it years ago and believe it or not the best info you can get about it is from The Church Of Ladder Day Saints, Yep, The Mormons. They even have the salt somewhere in Tucker I believe
