Same spring for use with suppressor or no

Yea Federal's American Eagle Suppressor ammo is a 124gr load but from what I've heard its not that good. You might be better getting some traditional 147gr but the AE suppressor seems to be abundant lately.
Yeah. The AR 124gr "suppressor" is subsonic but barely. 147 grn is where it's at.

I had back luck with the 124gr as well. The only problems I have ever had out of my beretta suppressed was with their 124gr. The federal 147gr flat tip is solid. Love that stuff. Along with PPU 158 and Fiocchi 158gr.

With factory loads you should not have to change your recoil spring.

Have you had any feeding issues with flat top ammo?

I have some Fiocchi and I'm waiting for AIM to get some of the PPU in stock. I tried to try the Summit Avalanche suppressor ammo but it wouldn't fit in my barrel.

That is the hilarious part. My mp5K hates it. No idea why. HATES it. My full size mp5 loves it. Even my Sten. A piece of crap welded sten. Eats it like candy. My 3 lug thread in class 3 has a video of my suppressed sten. The ammo used is the american eagle 147 gn flat top ammo.

Love it. Probably my favorite centerfire can. Very light and manageable, stays nice and cool, easy to clean and seems to suppress well (I'm not an expert there).

What do you guys think about the recoil spring for the P226? I saw a thread on AR15.com that recommended changing the spring to a heavier (I think) one when shooting with a can because the rails would get beat up otherwise.

I guess you could. I never have with any P226 I have owned. With subsonics you have less pressure so the added blowback IMO evens it out. Now if your shooting full house 9mm NATO out of the can then yes, it would not be a bad idea.
