Same spring for use with suppressor or no

I guess you could. I never have with any P226 I have owned. With subsonics you have less pressure so the added blowback IMO evens it out. Now if your shooting full house 9mm NATO out of the can then yes, it would not be a bad idea.

Thanks for the reply. This guys on the thread I mentioned showed some photos of some rails that were really chewed up. When I am shooting suppressed I like to do subs anyways, so I should be ok.

There is no telling how many rounds that pistol has had down it. The NFA review guy wore down an HK USP. So it can happen with any firearm
 
I run an Octane 45HD on my Glock 37 and had no issues with ammo. Just put the SL barrel in and get your suppressor with a piston and you are good to go.
 
Just as a another data point, I'm running a MP9 with an AAC barrel & TiRant 9. I've not had a single failure using the stock spring. Ammo used has ranged from the AE 124, various 147gr loads and Prvi 158gr. All run well.
