The court on Monday let stand court rulings in favor of a city measure that requires handgun owners to secure weapons in their homes by storing them in a locker, keeping them on their bodies or applying trigger locks. A second ordinance bans the sale of ammunition that expands on impact, has "no sporting purpose" and is commonly referred to as hollow-point bullets.

My brother lives there, he just started hog hunting in the mountains of California, he asked me to send if 2 weapons, gun stores would nit even touch trying to ship them. I had my brother do all the paper work in San Francisco, then I over-nighted them Fed-Ex. They, could not stop this.

I get testing them out but who the hell shoots them for the hell of it. Thank god I don't live there in Cali...One of the reasons I left NY

Hollow points have a valid sporting purpose. They give home invaders a sporting chance of not being shot repeatedly when the first FMJ overpenetrates and fails to stop.

If the SF police use hollow points they are in a real quandary. If this new ordinance does not exempt the LEO's from buying/using HP's, they will have to go to FMJ paper cutters.
