I thought my M70 under folder would really suck to shoot. But the skinny metal legs don't get close enough to my face to bother me. My only real gripe with that rifle is it's the heaviest one I own.I've had two aks, Mac 90 and Yugo m70, both with much more substantial stocks than the wasr. Still got that AK cheek pounding.
It's a lot easier to just use barrels that are cut properly. I already understand setting up a lathe to index off of the non-concentric bore. But it's ridiculous to have to do such things these days. And "high end" AK's can't figure out concentric bores is just plain assinine.The focus is not on the shims. Its the machining at the shoulder. Shims are just a part of the process when mounting an X37 muzzle device to a potentially non-concentric barrel for achieving the ability to properly suppress an AK. Would probably benefit you to read the following article.
