You’re correct. At the end of the conversation I told her that I missed Cabela’s. She asked what I meant. I politely told her that Bass Pro has ruined it. Cheaper made clothes (& less quality products for the most part as the Cabela’s name is now a bumper sticker they can put on anything) not a cheaper price. Customer service at Cabela’s was always great in store or through the catalog/online.
thats my problem too! Im still gonna call them to see if there might be a southpaw somewhere.
Ordered a 7mm mag...only other option was 6.5 Norma...let’s see if I get a rifle or the email of doom...
I checked Savages website and didn't see the long range hunter listed. I have a laft handed Savage Tropht Hunter in 308 that I like. I want a lefty 7mag at some point.

Back in the summer I saw they had the 10 BA Stealth on sale and I wanted one in 6.5CM to try my hand at the long range game.
Well, I kept checking and they were always out of stock. Until I figured out you have to check first thing in the morning.
Seems like they will allocate a certain quantity per day and then list them as unavailable. The next morning they have only so many to sell before that day's allocation is done.
Long story short I finally ordered and had the rifle shipped to Canton. Them not calling me and letting me know it was there is a whole 'nuther story...

Got the email that my 6.5 Creedmoor is ready for pickup. Haven't been super excited about a gun purchase because of the inflated Covid prices but it was on sale plus the rebate plus the $318 in Cabela's Bucks. I'm getting out for $200 out of pocket on a really really good over the counter long range hunting rifle. Stoked
