Was digging around in my gunsafe when I found one of the very first rifles I bought, an SKS with a Bubba camo spray paint job. Was getting into Milsurps for the first time and didnt know what kind of SKS it was, didnt know even if it mattered, just knew it was a semi-auomatic rifle for a good price. Now that I am well-versed (maybe better-versed) in the SKS world, I could immediately tell it was an Albanian SKS with the original stock. Of course, the bubba spray paint job cannot stand on a piece of history, especially on a much harder to find Albanian SKS.
This is the only after pic I can get to upload. Have an original Albanian SKS bayonet on the way.

It is definitely time for a group photo shoot with the SKS family:
Chinese
Sino-Soviet
Yugo
Russian
Albanian
Romanian
