Saw a 4 door jeep wrangler with all the doors removed and two car seats in the back...

Gotta love the ODT. One of the few places you can watch a bad thread get worse. Kind of like watching a turd circle the drain...

I saw a dude pulling a very nice one down I75 with it still up. It was not handling it very well. To this day I wonder how that story ended.

That's funny. Just before I retired from the Air Force I bought a pop-up and I took the wife and two kids on a 33 day, 6000 mile road trip from Alabama throught the Southwest, up the California coast, down the San Juaquin Valley, to Vegas, Grand Canyon, up to Denver, Devils Tower, Mt Rushmore and more.

It was like National Lampoon's Vacation. But we survived and never left the top up when going down the road.

I actually enjoy watching that if it's mine.

Why is everyone harshing on the 'shroom? It's probably been well over 10 years since I've been in one (so maybe it's changed) but as I remember the 'za was good and the beer was cold. Y'all are awful 'fancy'.... :p

I don't get it either. Sure there are places with better pizza but MM is still pretty solid

I don't think TU really had as much influence in the Tellico closure as one would think if you compare the water study that was funded by SFWDA to the one TU had done. As a matter of fact, the differences were comical. I think the Forestry Service simply had an agenda.

THIS! Between their agenda and a group called the RANGERS, it was doomed. They recently re-opened some of the less aggressive trails from what I was told. But as far as upper/lower two, school bus, helicopter cap, etc they are still shut down. Sad too. Some of my best wheeling memories were there...
