I feel for you! Losing a furry family member is tough. As others have stated she will not be in pain. Just think of the good times, and how much joy that she brought you. Letting go is real hard, but holding on is worse. Praying for you!

It's always hard just sit and pet her tell her all the fun times and moments the two you have shared and just like that lights out it's terrible but no mo suffering
Holding my dog and petting him when he was put down was bitter sweet. On one hand it was the absolute most heart breaking experience I've endured to date but on the other hand, I wouldn't have had it any other way. You get to be the last person he sees and he leaves this world being held by you knowing he's loved.
This is one of those times where you have to step up and endure the pain or regret it forever. My heart goes out to you. Many of us have been there and dread going back.

sorry to hear that bro. as you know i did it yesterday. there is no way to describe or prepare for it. just hold her tight while she goes to sleep. thoughts are with you bro.
