For the past 2-3 years my EDC has been a bone stock Glock 19. I recently went to a range and shot a family members Sig P239 in .40. At 10 yards my groupings were about the size of a half dollar, with the P239. At 10 yards with my Glock 19 I am lucky if my groupings are within 3-5 inches. I've also noticed I shoot my Glock 43 and Sig P938 better and more accurately than my Glock 19. I've started carrying my Glock 43 w/ TT +2&3 mags. I have a good trusting of glock because of the reliability of them I have personally experienced. I also am against replacing the trigger in a carry gun, something just doesn't feel good about it.

I'm thinking my next step would be go to a range and shoot Sigs/Beretta in 9mm to verify. I'm thinking a Sig 226 or 320 would fit my need but I keep eyeing a Beretta 92fs (although I've never shot one)

Additional Info:
I'm a larger frame guy and have no issues concealing a 19 or 17, and typically carry 8-14 hours a day in an Alien Gear 3.5 holster (for both 19 and 43). I want a minimum capacity of 12 rounds, otherwise I'll continue with the 43. Please feel free to share any y'all have for sale that would fit this need.

At the end of the day no matter where you start you end up with a Glock. Buy various sizes from various uses and call it a day. Get a Glock 17 or 34 for range use and a 26 or 43 to carry.
I've got a 17 as well, that I like but again I just don't shoot it as well. I think it's that the 17/19 grips don't fit my hands as well as the single stack 9's, but the Sig 239 felt perfect when shooting it. The trigger on the 239 felt fantastic and crisp.

You’re not gonna get much performance difference out of the cartridge in any of those guns. Any difference you see is operator related. I’d say get the one you shoot best and is most comforatable to carry. Especially if you’re keeping everything plain Jane and not worried about aftermarket parts.

I am 5'5 and carry a Taurus 92fs clone. All reliability talk aside my weapon has been very reliable for me. I conceal the joker easy peasy, but I do carry appendix and wear scrubs most days. it soooometimes looks like I have a phone holder under there but whatever. I personally get hung up on capacity but if I'm going to have a gun nudged against my vital organ all day it better be DA/SA. The smaller the gun, the worse my accuracy is. That's just me though
