If your dog chews up your Hi Power you can still shoot it.On a serious note, I'm giving more and more consideration to metal guns lately. I just don't see polymer retaining its strength as it ages.
If the Sig P239 feels good in the hand & you love the trigger you made the argument !!I've got a 17 as well, that I like but again I just don't shoot it as well. I think it's that the 17/19 grips don't fit my hands as well as the single stack 9's, but the Sig 239 felt perfect when shooting it. The trigger on the 239 felt fantastic and crisp.
