I see prices all over the board on FB marketplace.

Not sure what is the going or actual fair rates for face cord, full cord, pick up truck full, delivered thrown pick up full, etc.?

All for red oak and white oak. Here is a dumb rookie question - what is the best way to differentiate pine wood vs oak or other woods?

Grdbreaker Grdbreaker can hook you up! I've gotten some of his red oak and its great!

Pine is a soft wood, and nobody tries to sell it as firewood around me as far as I know.

Seasoned oak will look splintery and usually greyish in color. Pine does not look the same split. It will immediately look "off" in what you picture as firewood.

Guy in Douglasville has some really nice wood at a really cheap price. He’s on the traitor.

Thanks, but Douglasville is about 3hrs from me.

Not looking for where to buy, but just info in general to make me a more educated buyer locally.

This is what a cheap pick up truck load of firewood should look like.
