School me on Kriss Vectors

For some reason I've starting thinking about getting a Kriss Vector 9mm with Sig brace and running it suppressed. I really don't know anything about them except that they are pricey ($1200ish) and not small. I don't think any of the LGS in my area have one in stock for me to handle. I have read that I only want to consider the Gen 2's. Looking for any real impressions or feedback from people that have shot them.

I haven't owned one but it's atop my list of next things to buy. Everything I've read says stay with the gen 2. Look on www.gunwatcher.com and you can buy the pistols around $1050.

I braved a recent gun show so I could handle one. They are heavy enough to officially be off my list of wants. I guess some had very stiff charging handle issues from what I've read. I think they have fixed that issue, but it's still not for me.

They suck. Not reliable and are way to heavy. I have seen them in competition twice and neither one was worth a crap.

Thanks guys, that is the type of feedback I wanted. I knew that they are about same weight as an AR pistol.

I owned a .45 cal gen 1 for a while...even with the most premium recommended ammo..it would jam 1 or 2 rounds out of every mag. i put 2-3k rounds down it hoping it would break in...sold it.
