This colt is going to be my new varmint rifle and was wanting some suggestions about what scope to put on it. I was thinking a leupold AR scope. What do yall think?

Well from my coyote hunting days in the midwest I'll tell you that if you are calling yotes, a 1.5-4x or 2-7x scope is plenty. Low power will give you a wider f.o.v., and help when they are on the move. If you are prairie dog/rock chuck shooting the more power the better...to a degree. I really like Nikons, although Leupold is great too. I think you get a bit better glass and coatings for the money with Nikon, but they are very close.
If it is going to be an all-around rifle, maybe a 2.5-10, or 4-12 would fit the bill. Just get something with good glass, and keep the objective lense as small as possible.
Nikon Monarch, or Leupold VXIII. Maybe look at the Conquest line in Zeiss.
