Scoring a buck

A buddy shot this nice buck yesterday.
Just out of curiosity he would like to get it scored.
Anybody know anyone in North Cherokee County that would?
BTW: The rut is on apparently.
Between the doe estrus and a grunt this buck got all stupid and came out in the open looking for a fight.

Hard to judge from a picture but easy to score. Go online to Boone and Crockett. Just guessing from the pic, 110-120? Nice deer for your buddy no matter the score. This one scored 120+ that I got yesterday.

Upper 120’s to lower 130’s by my guess from the picture. For a rough measurement, use the method posted above or find a local taxidermist who’ll pull the tape. Many will at no charge. An official score will require drying time and an official scorer.

I have always been an 8 magnet.....lol.

Easy to score yourself with a cloth tape. I’d say 120 or so.

I’d say 120’s, maybe 125 gross. It takes a helluva 8 point to break 130.
