There isn't any such thing as public properties. PERIOD. The lands are supposed to be registered in a "public trust", but instead are registered as federal/government land. They get to determine what can and cant be done, and even block of roads intentially. Whether its blocked by gate, or knocking over a large to block the block the roads. The amount of stuff like this that I have noticed since I started this hobby is insane.
Funny how we think we own property yet are forced to pay a tax just for owning it every year even though it’s already “paid” off.

That might be a special case. Dawson WMA is mostly owned by Atlanta, so it's one of the exceptions that might have special rules.
