Sell me on th Sig sauer P238 or P938

I have the 938 equinox and wouldn't trade it for anything. The all metal frame and compact "1911"ergonomics make it my favorite edc. The feel is just like a commander size 1911. Easily concealed and very crisp firearm.

i have the 238 and 938 (well technically they belong to my g/f) and with my XDs getting coated i wanted to carry something small. For some reason i am still trying to figure out i cannot hit the broad side of a barn with the 238, the 938 on the other hand i love. Been carrying a lot in a belly band when i go out jogging/walking with the 938. I think i make get a real holster for it too so i can switch between it and my XDs since it is smaller and more comfy to carry.

I really want a smaller EDC, and I like this sigs, I hear they a truly fine weapon. But the price for essentially a pocket pistol is hard to justify. I do have a S&W Shield 9mm, and I had a Glock 42. I currently carry a Glock 32. Tell me why or why not, how do they shoot. I definitely like a 9mm better than 380, but that P238 feels great. Thanks folks.
I have had several of them, love them they are very accurate, love the cocked and locked feature. I have one for sale now, night sights, 2 mags and 2 holsters. $475.

If the only thing holding you back about the P938 is the price, grab this hell of a steal from PSA. $550 shipped for a "Sports 13" Edition. Comes with 2 mags and TFO front sights.

That's a deal in a half there. Too bad they are out of stock. I know Georgia Gun Store had a 938 for 600 when I was up that way. One of the best retail prices I've seen around. Can't remember if it was a nitron or equinox or what it was. It was pretty and I wanted it.

Great shooters. A little heavy for deep pocket conceal. Plus, I would not carry a mini 1911 cocked and locked in my pocket. I'm a huge Sig fan, but for every day pocket carry I keep coming back to the LCP. Yeah, I wish it was 9mm rather than .380 but it's not a range gun. It's a bad breath gun. I prefer DAO for deep conceal. My two cents anyway. Good luck.

My thoughts exactly.

Agree 100 percent. My Dad carries a p238 and it's a phenomenal shooter for its size. I would expect the p938 to be the same. I just can't trust myself with a safety on a carry gun. If you train enough, I'm sure it would be second nature, but not for me.

Just paid $643 Out The Door, for my P938 Blackwood 2 days ago. I too have been carrying the Shield in 9mm. I was sold on the SIG when I got to shoot my Son-In-Laws, p938 a few months ago. It shot great and spot on at 10 yards for me. I like the feel, and the night sights are a great bonus. I know people are selling them used on the ODT for around $650 or more but I could not turn it down since my FFL Dealer had such a good "deal" for me. Have not shot mine yet but will this weekend. I am hoping that it will make a great EDC for me, If not, I can always go back to my shield and sell the 938 for more here, lol.

Update 5/4/14, 4:49PM, Shot about 100 rounds through it today with not one singe issue. New gun, accurate and dependable right out of the BOX.
