Semi auto or revolver?

The way I see it, it is just a matter of preference. Any hand gun is to be used to fight your way to your rifle or shot gun
I own both and use whatever fits the predicament.

Caliber, Caliber, Caliber. It depends on the caliber. If I want to shoot a 300+ grain bullet at 1500+fps. I want a revolver. The Desert Eagle and other production magnum semi autos are just too cumbersome for me. The most accurate pistol that I ever had the pleasure to shoot was a friends model 52 Smith in 38spl. It would stack 148gr dewc like nothing I've seen. For target use the semi auto tends to be the more accurate. The 1911 in my eyes is the target pistol of choice for me. One of the high cap compact plastic pistols makes sense in a carry piece, but don't hand me a .454 Casull in anything magazine fed. The nightstand has a Smith model 60 in it. All my vehicles are equipped with at least one plastic .45, although I don't like the fact that they do tend to litter the ground at what may be an inconvenient time and place to stop and pick up your brass for reloading. Oh well, choices we make.

Preach on, man...a Glock is nearly as reliable. But the ability to fire single or double action by cocking a hammer with your firing hand is a priceless feeling!

Keyword........"nearly". Even Glocks jam. Revolvers you just pull the trigger again.

I love a good revolver but a semi is quicker to reload!

You ever seen someone use a speed loader? Semi is easier to reload but quicker I have my doubts.
