i will never understand why people want to go out and buy up as much ammo as they can just for the sole purpose of hoarding it. SHTF you aint gonna be humping around 1k 9mm rounds, this aint fallout where ammo doesn't weight anything lol.

So, I'll dumb this one down for the slow in the room. Some folks like to shoot in situations other than humping it through the woods all Red Dawn style. To shoot on a regular basis, you have to have ammo. To have ammo, you have to buy it. Helluva lot easier to go to the basement and pull 500 rounds off a shelf than it is to source ammo every time I go shoot. Not to mention, I like not being in the same situation as so many of the slow folks here that buy only "what they can carry in a SHTF scenario."
Anyone person that likes to shoot already has their ammo bud. They aint out at the store at 430 in the morning freezing their dick off to buy 1k 9mm. They already have plenty of ammo and will cut back right now because of idiots doing the above. Go troll elsewhere.
How many times has this happened before? I know since I got into it at least 3. Obama, Sandy Hook, 2016 election. Same ol song and dance every time, if you aint learned by now to buy it cheap and stack it deep thats your own fault for smoking your own supply. Now you have factories that cant keep up with the buying and people are buying out of panic and not need. If they dont have enough to keep up with their habit maybe they should cut back. Just a thought. How do you know what they have and dont have? Lots of people I know who shoot DONT have enough ammo to keep up with their training/hobby or whatever. If they want to pay top dollar to continue those activities thats on them, but dont assume everyone buying ammo now is hoarding. Another thing, why do so many people believe a handful of the buying public who flip ammo can destabalize the whole entire market? Its so ridiculous.
Agree here, but seems to go against your other statement of why would someone have 1k rounds because you can't carry all of it in a shtf scenario. How many times has this happened before? And why should he even be mad if he already has his own stash?Agree here, but seems to go against your other statement of why would someone have 1k rounds because you can't carry all of it in a shtf scenario.
Im saying the people camping outside the store at 430am to buy that most likely dont need/want it for recreational purposes. They are doing it out of panic or going to flip it. Just like I would like to play around with a 17hmr but guess what, you cant find any because people are buying it just to have it. This is like the toilet paper back in March. People out there buying **** they dont need just to have it.Agree here, but seems to go against your other statement of why would someone have 1k rounds because you can't carry all of it in a shtf scenario.
im not mad, i just think its stupid and ends up hurting the gun community image worse than it already is.And why should he even be mad if he already has his own stash?
