Has anyone updated to the metal mag catch?
I immediately put a hyve in mine. Works fine. My buddy never replaced his, works fine. I assume the metal mags will eat into polymer mag catch over time but in 100 mag changes his still works
Wasn't too difficult to swap out
It's an easy swap! I have Shield Arms mag catch, figured I have thier mags might as well have their catch!
I know it is not that hard to do, was just wondering if the expense was necessary.
I read or watched a video what ( I believe is the owner of Shield Arms) has stated on their company page is that the steel mags will eventually eat away the polymer factory catch. He stated that some folks had failures sooner then others..... You can find it on their website!
