Skeet has more crossing shots, whereas the clays in Trap are moving away from the shooter. Some fly directly away (which really pisses me off to miss), some go left and some right, but always away.
The guys I shoot with use at least 30" barrels, and one uses a 34", all trap specific models.
One of the guys shoots 22-23 in a normal trap round, and throws up a 25 every 10-15 rounds. So it rains one day and we decide that we'll stay dry by shooting 5 Stand. Long story short, it was a goat rodeo. Just totally different shots from what we were accustomed to. We went to CMP at Talledega last Friday, and found their 5 Stand totally different from ours, and as you can imagine, didn't shoot real well. Point being, you'll see different shots than you're accustomed to, so even if you're not hitting as you normally do, just keep banging away.
