Shotgun recommendation

It’s was an information gathering trip. Shopping for Christmas
If it were me, I'd go with that Beretta hands down. The others just don't have the quality. He could use that Beretta for the rest of his life. However, it ain't cheap. And hard to say if he'd keep it for life

We went shotgun holding today. We visited Barrows on Butler, cut over to Academy the back to the Sport Center in Perry. I don't know how many guns he held. For now he is between the Beretta A300, Stoeger M3500 and Winchester SX4. Its was a good day enjoyed our time.
I would ck with howards in Macon he will probably beat barrows price when you decide

When I was a kid I only knew of a 870 or a 1100. There's a crazy rabbit hole of information available now
Browning (A5) and Winchester (SX1) also produced quality shotguns during that time, but the Remington (1100) was marketed toward the average hunter at a price point most working families could afford. Remington held a large share of the shotgun market.

The budget guns of the day were purchased from Sears or our local hardware stores.

The internet has made a huge difference in how we purchase as well as the amount of information available about each model and brand. The wealth of information can be a great asset when comparing models, but can also be overwhelming to consumers.

Good luck in your search,
