i have a female friend that isn't comfortable with the full size stock on a shotgun. Any recommendations for a better fit in an over/under in the $1,000 price range?

Has she tried a stoeger 20 gauge? If she likes that one there is one for sale on etc trading time

I have a CZ Redhead Deluxe in 20ga my lady friend loves to shoot

The lighter the gun the sharper the recoil, so don't make a reason to buy it because it's light.
Light is fine for a field gun that you'll be carrying a lot and shooting less.
But not for a trap, skeet, sporting clay gun!
