You might be a noob to the site but I can tell that you're not a noob to experience. Good post

Sounds like the beginning of a new Jeff Foxworthy bit... "If all you've ever posted was 'GLWS' to get your post count up.... You might be a Noob."

Hate to say it... But it's attracting the "Craigslist" generation...

You do need to keep your eyes open.

I have seen a bunch of new "members" lately with very few posts. Some have been trying to get people to swing stuff which is not legal (like out of state sales without going thru an FFL.)

-I love this site, but we do need to be leery sometimes. I sure don't want it to turn into a craigslist scamtown.

If you were ever late to a meet up on odt by 30 minutes or more...you might be a noob.
If you ever made a sell or trade on odt and didn't communicate worth a flip and wasted everyone's time......you might be a noob.
If you showed up and asked for bill of sale unexpectedly.....you are definatley a noob.
If you ever said you'd take something and gave some lame excuse why you changed your mind.....you are a f-ing noob.

I found this place on accident and I was hooked from the start. I did a lot of reading and searching through posts. Then I decided to sell my SKS. I had no feedback and I had no trouble selling it. I wanted to make sure the buyer felt I was legit. I told him I could work with his schedule and would do what I needed to earn his trust. He took a "chance" on me and well here I am today. With trading and selling I have done here in a short time I pride myself in wanting the buyer to be happy when I sell something. I have met some great people in here and hope that will continue. Besides even if its a one hit wonder does it matter as long as your getting your money from a sale or a product your buying?
