What are the real thoughts on owning this gun if you don't live in a "ban state"?

It's obviously discounted quite a bit right now, but does that make up for the fact that it has some strange features that aren't the most user-friendly? It's piston driven, so that's cool, but what about the other stuff?

I'm curious if the Regulator model will bring the street prices of the standard LT model down eventually.

Sig releases new iterations of the same product so often, I wouldn't want to be an early adopter.

Id get the LT model if the handguard was made solid and if the prices come down.
