Since everybody is drinking the glock koolaid.... heckler and koch anybody?

Seeing all these glock threads got me thinking... where are all the HK fan boys at? I sold my last glock the other day. The same day I picked up my 4th HK. Not saying there is anything wrong with glocks. I just have always been more comfortable with a SA/DA pistol. That being said, I love my USP 45, HK p9s , P2000 and an HK collection would not be complete without a P7. I know many people just see the prices and RUN! Lord knows id like to. Just wondering how many ODT'ers like HKs better than glocks.

Thats the same one I have. I traded mine a while back and kicked myself for doing so. I snagged a usp 45 compact but I like the full size much better so I got a full size again.

It's easier on my wallet to drink the Glock koolaid. One day, I'd love to have a nice cool sip of HK mk23.

I have found it difficult to warm up to an HK pistol. I have immense respect for the design and quality, and if I were a SWAT team member or headed in to a war zone I'd choose one. They are just too large and clunky for EDC use. As for collecting - I collect guns that I like to look at, and most HKs look like the box that a gun comes in. The P7 doesnt fall into that category, but it still doesn't look good to me. They're hard to beat for function though.

I had a need to deal with them last year on a pretty big issue. They were incredibly good to deal with. I could not have asked for better or more personal service. Their old reputation was probably well deserved but they seem to be going in a better direction and paying attention to civilians.
