Update: fever and swelling went down last night so that’s good! She’s still in ICU and we’re just waiting at this point. They said the next 48 hours will be the hardest.

Thank everybody for the prayers! I know that’s the only reason she’s made it this far.

Update: So things took a turn for the worse yesterday around lunchtime. A small stroke and no progres in healing made them call in the family. They said even if she survives, there is 0% chance for her to have a life and a vegetative state is likely. So we were faced with a tough decision but we knew what she’d want.

I just want to thank everyone here for the prayers and I know this is God’s will even if I don’t understand it. Please continue to pray for the family as we go on without her. My BIL, niece, and mother are shattered to say the least. Thanks again.
