Try it in firefox private browsing mode, hit ctrl+shift+p and then load the site and see if it is the same

Doing that returned things to normal by initial appearance... Still wondering what happened? I am going to restart my computer... it has been a while...

Then it is something with your browser, maybe try clearing your cookies and see if that fixes it.
