sizer/lubricator?

so just for future reference, if I were to look at the STAR, can you do what you need to do with the basic $275 setup or do you need a bunch of the optional stuff? I might be able to squeeze that in the future but if it takes another $200 to get it to run well, that's just a bit too much for what i have in mind. Again I don't plan to run a lot of quantity of bullets (for $60 i'll buy 1k somewhere), but more for the odd stuff that's getting expensive or harder to find.

For a heater I used a 40 watt bulb for many years. A little expermenting to get startup temp. and the correct contact of bulb to sizer. Buy the correct sizer die with several rows of holes and it will work for several bullet styles in that diameter. The bullets push nose down so there is only one punch for each diameter. There are good instruction videos on the web site.

I mounted my RCBS LAMII on a piece of 1/4" aluminum.
The aluminum extends about 6" behind it.
Bought a used travel iron at a yard sale and use it to provide the heat to the unit.
Works great and has the ability to control the temp.
Bootleg at best but it sure does work!!!!
