I’m thinking on replacing the original wood stock on an inherited SKS. It was my grandfather’s and has sentimental value. I would like to spruce it up with a Boyd’s stock but I do not know if the stock will work on a norinco. Their website says it’s for a Yugo. Anyone have any experience with Boyd’s for the sks? Also is there better options out there? Thanks in advanced.

It's been a while since I owned a Yugo SKS, but my recollection is that there were some small differences between it and my current Norinco's. Best to find a Norinco stock. There are usually several on EBay.

it depends on the norinco, if pinned barrel gun yes-with modification, if screwed in, yes- probably just normal fitting. Do boyds stock have recoil crossbolt?
