Has anybody tried a slidefire stock? If so, tell us about it. If you haven't heared of one look it up on Youtube or somwhere- it seems pretty cool. I want to get an SW AR15-22 and put one on it. According to the Slidefire web site it will work on a 22 with a lighter trigger a recoil enhancer and one other thing (I think-maybe thats all). Thet even sell a SW AR15-22 already equipped. However I am still skeptical - some reviews I read were negative on the .22s. I saw a girl on youtube shooting a 45ACP Carbine and it was fast and smooth-real fast. This is worth checking out if you have never seen one.

I had one on an AR-15.They are fun,but it gets expensive with the 5.56/.223 ammo. You really cant aim and shoot you just have to point in the general direction.I'd like to try it on the 15-22 that I have.Let me know.

Have a friend that has a slide fire stock. He has it on his AR lower, uses it with 556 and 22 upper. Had to put a drop in 3.5 lb trigger to make it work with 22 upper. Goes through ammo too fast for me, I'm cheap.

I think he's had it jam a few times, and I believe it was with cheap 22 like Thunderbolt or something. As for controllable, for the most part. He was just happy his ammo bill went down when he felt like playing.
