Just traded into a "Para Ordinance 14/45" I think. It has an aluminum frame with a steel slide, but the slide has NO markings...I don't even know for sure it's a 14/45, but it is a double stack Para. It doesn't have the factory slide on it. Question is, who made an unmarked slide? It appears it was worked a little on the bottom front, for what reason I don't know. No markings on the barrel...Gun shoots GREAT!

When Para first started, they only made frame "kits" , You had to fit your top end (slide and barrel) to the frame. I don't remember the ser # range off the top of my head, but I guess you could call Para and see if it was sold as a complete weapon or a kit.
