Where I live the backroads behind the main roads were salted yesterday... I am actually impressed with the efforts of the community.

Light sleet/snow mix now here in Pendergrass. Got the wood stove cranking, chuck roast in the crock pot, just made a Bloody Mary. Started generator yesterday and filled up the gas tanks. Love days like this as long as trees don’t fall on the house.

Snow and sleet accumulated to about 1/2" in Buford at 4:30 this morning. At 10:00 am, we still had about 1/2", but temp is now at 31° and freezing rain and sleet are coming down. These tropical storm force winds are gonna bring down some limbs in a bit if the rain continues!
