Long story short, sitting at my bridge job on I-85 and looked in rearview mirror and saw flames boiling out of the bed of my truck. Jumped out and grabbed fire extinguisher and proceeded to attempt to put out the fire that was raging under tool box. Almost had out it when a couple cans of marking paint exploded, knocking me elbows over butthole backwards! Looked up from the ditch in the median at the pretty fireball and wondering WTF and realized what happened, so found extinguisher on the ground about 20' from truck and put fire out then called for help.
Took a nice trip to Grady where they treated me like royalty! Went home last Thursday and going back to work tomorrow. Got lucky, my glasses saved my right eye for sure and good meds and lots of prayers healed me enough to get out of this house! Count your blessings every day!
