So I left a negative review on my FFL over at Buds and cancelled all future shipments to that FFL. Felt bad so removing the review. But no more orders

I’ve been following the Saga of Bypass for the last few days now.
First, I’m glad you finally got your property.
I’ve come to a couple conclusions in the process:
1. You should NEVER use that FFL for a transfer again. They totally suck. Bigtime.
2. You are way too nice.

I told them I would take down the negative review BUT they are too damn slow about doing transfers. They stil didn't have it in the book when I got there.

Oh well I got my gun and no more shopping sprees for me. Maybe I can save some money now.

Don said don't worry about the negative review but I'm taking it down anyways. Always liked these guys personally don't know why they're so slow though.

My FFL is $25 to do transfers and will give it to me the minute it hits the door if I'm there when it arrives. If I'm not they call me to come get it an hour after it arrives or less.. It's not rocket science. Log it into your book, call customer, they come do the 4473 and they log it out of their book. It's a simple process honestly and should only take 30 minutes max. Anything more is time wasting not wanting to make the money someone is coming to pay to transfer it.

It sounds simple and most of the time it is, but keep in mind a lot of FFLs receive other freight including (items they ordered from shot show, other shows, gear fire orders, other transfers etc, that all might have to be checked in first or around the same time.

I used to be that guy that followed tracking and wanted my order the day it arrived. What's comical about that... is now I work at a gun shop and have a full understanding why transfers take sometimes a day or 2 to check in depending on freight levels.

I definitely see it both ways, but have patience for sure. Hell a lot of the time if someone is respectful and says hey I've been waiting for this transfer and it shows delivered but haven't gotten a call... I'll go and see if I can put my hands on it and get it checked in right then and there.

I've been thinking this whole time that maybe they're the kind of FFL you would be, if you got one: "I like the percs, but I don't want to deal with people".
