I bet you don't. Because of hail damage most home owners policies in Georgia have an age clause and they only pay for part of the new roof based on how old it is. Check with your insurance company about the coverage on your roof. I checked alfa, state farm, and a couple other local places and every one of them the ammount of the roof that was covered was on a sliding scale based on age.

When the shingles go on my roof I'm going to be replacing it with a metal roof. I am one of those weird people that likes the sound of the rain on a metal roof.. puts me to sleep
