So much complaining about "Noobs" and in general

I did a deal with a new member with no posts on Friday. It went perfectly. I have no problem with new members at all as long as they keep their word, show up on time, and communicate.
I was answering PMs on the Colt I have listed and many folks were shocked that I actually did this. I answer PMs even for ridiculous offers as it's the right thing to do...
Unfortunately, some are using "broad sweeps" of criticism directed toward supposed "noobs". I find that unfair just as I find unfair that the supposed "seasoned members" have any special status at all. There are many members here that have a higher post count than I and I have been on longer. But does that mean that either has achieved a most trusted status? No. I try not to look at post count and only see if I am interested in what they have to sell/buy/trade. I must admit that I do check the itrader to see the feedback score and to see if they have dealt with any members I know. But the lack of either does not mean I will not do business with them. Post count really has nothing to do with character. I think we all can see that. I also hate it when members see a post by a supposed noob and reply with crap like, "come back when you have been here a while", or "great, another noob's opinion". Really? Those members who call out noobs, really have no clue. But, this has been going on since the site began. When I first came to the site, I was welcomed by most, but there were a few who acted like real turds. Still happening today. The more things change the more things stay the same.
You hit the proverbial nail right there.....I am finding most noobs to have more honor than some old timers around here. The old timers should lead by example, not stir up chit just for chits sake.
Well said sir! The only ranting I want to do on here is when someone doesn't have enough decency to answer a realistic and polite PM that I have sent to them! That in my opinion is the easiest way to land on my "ignore" list........... be it a "noob" or "veteran"!
Since officially joining last month I've been corrected repeatedly by people half my age, had my life threatened once and Istill got the text saved in my phone on that one, I been cursed at and told by more than 1 old member my price was too high and THEY dont like it.To many people in here feel they have the right to get in other peoples business and let them know about the "WE" group in here, WE don't like noobs, we want pics posted the first time, we don't like your. I've noticed its the same group of people doing most of the complaining and stareting arguments over and over. I can understand people feeling like they belong because they been here longer but theres a group of them in here that act like theyre better than the rest of us.
