Python is Sold. Thank you The Outdoors Trader!
This Python, serial number K075XX was manufactured in 1980. This was the year Colt introduced Pythons with 8" barrels. I purchased this Python locally and have not shot it. It has been fired however, but not extensively. The pictures show a Python with overall excellent bluing with near perfect wooden stocks. What is difficult to photograph are the several handling marks, which would be typical of a revolver which has been used, and well cared for.
In photograph 6 below, you may notice a very small amount of clouding in the bluing just behind the cylinder release latch. This clouding is very minor and is only seen when the Python is held at a certain angle against the light. There are also about 2 small nicks in the bluing but are too small to photograph.
The package includes the following original Colt items (these are all originals and not reproductions):
- Original Colt wood-grain box. The identification label has been separated from the box and taped. There is also a tear in the identification label.
- Colt Python Manual dated 1978 (as revised Jan. 1980)
- Yellow trigger "Warning" tag
- The Colt Companion manual
Face to Face
Not interested in trades at this time.
I am currently unable to travel and would have to meet the buyer at my residence in metro Atlanta, about 2 miles south of Lenox Mall.
Please PM me with questions. I can provide many more photos.
First "I'll take it" followed by a PM, gets it.
Thank you for looking.
