THIS^ I'm so pissed. I called when the store opened at 10am, and they said that they had some in, so I used my Annual Leave to get off work early and make the 1 hr trip! I called while on the road and they are ALL SOLD OUT! and refuse to take payment over the phone or hold it. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME, GAS and LEAVE!!!

oh and to those who are selling them on here for $500+ **** you!!

I always enjoy these posts from folks who believe freedom only extends to their individual gun rights. To hear you guys talk, it sounds as if you would prefer the government step in and regulate the distribution of limited resources. After all, that really works well in communist countries. Are you all enjoying driving from Walmart-to-Walmart day after day looking for that last loaf of bread. Freedoms don't extend to economics?

Everything has consequences. Freedom to buy that last bit of food and try to mark it up at a profit, doesnt make it not despicable. I never said they couldnt do it. Just that it disgusts me. The consequence is that alot of people will no longer do business with them, or trade with them, even if they later stop their gouging, as their integrity is now in question.

Cheaperthandirt is a great example. they will lose a lot of business in the future, as people remember their gouging. In our community here on ODT, people are overwhelmingly awesome towards each other. Some people are bad eggs. We simply avoid those people.

But to ignore when someone does something BAD, is to condone those actions as acceptable. The free market has an easy answer for that, Good men communicate, and choose to vote with their wallets. The leeches go away on their own as they starve. (or as the case here, they stop using their leech account and go back to their original user name...)

A free society does not have to be a regulated one, people will self-regulate, and gougers will learn. Whether they are businesses or private.

If their practice is acceptable to YOU, feel free to buy from them. Me , I will continue to not only NOT feed them, but actively voice my disgust of them. Feel free to not deal with me either if you dont like my personal views.

Meanwhile, ill try to help my community avoid the gougers, as I hope 7 other people did today.

Ordinarily I wouldn't be this upset, but the wife was just so excited when I told her I tracked one down. Hate to let down that woman. The guy I spoke with at Clydes said that they have been getting shipments every other week, so we may get luck soon....?
