have opened up a bit, will take a DPMS upper as long as its in good shape, same with other makers. Must have boot to make even though.

I dont know of any local places but ammo is around $129.00-$139.00 per 1,080 rounds online. MUCH cheaper then 5.56 or even some 9mm.
